2024 National Security Innovation Base Report Card
Overview
The NSIB Report Card, published annually by the Reagan Institute’s Center for Peace Through Strength at its NSIB Summit, fills that gap. This first-of-its-kind assessment is a groundbreaking tool for policymakers and private sector leaders to understand the effectiveness and productivity of the U.S. innovation base to support our national security goals. Introduction to 2024 Report Card
In 2023, the Ronald Reagan Institute’s Center for Peace Through Strength published the first-ever report card to assess the National Security Innovation Base (NSIB). The concept of the NSIB had gained prominence since its emergence in the 2017 U.S. National Security Strategy, but until the NSIB Report Card, there was no way to measure the collective impact of this critical yet largely uncoordinated ecosystem.
