Pompeii: The Exhibition

NOW OPEN

Pompeii: The Exhibition, opening October 6, 2018 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, features over 150 authentic artifacts on loan from the renowned Naples National Archaeological Museum in Italy.  These are not replicas, but rather original, 2,000-year-old objects that were preserved in the ash.  These artifacts include wall-sized frescos, marble and bronze sculptures, jewelry, ancient Roman coins, and full body casts of the volcano’s victims.

Spend a semester in the nation’s capital with students from around the country and the world who are just as passionate about making a difference through strong leadership. The intensive and immersive schedule is designed to maximize your time in Washington by combining learning in the classroom with practical internship experience and special events with prominent public leaders. Leadership and the American Presidency (LTAP) will help you define and strengthen your leadership skills and learn lessons from the American Presidency, all while giving you an insider’s view of Washington.

With rooms and outdoor venues capable of hosting intimate meetings for 10 or gala dinners for up to 1,500 guests, The Library offers a diverse selection of memorable settings, from the mission-inspired elegance of the main library building to the sleek, modern grandeur of the Air Force One Pavilion.

From the moment you step onto our property until the moment you depart, your senses will be filled with all things Christmas at the Reagan Library’s brand-new Holiday Lights Program! Current and nostalgic holiday tunes will make you smile; the scent of yuletide treats will tease your nose; and everywhere you look you will see festive, stunning displays of light. You, your family and your friends will experience the holidays like never before! This not-to-be-missed nighttime holiday event will be fun for the entire family. The 60-90 minute outdoor walk around the Reagan Library campus will include LEDs, lasers, 3D projections, animated displays, interactive photo ops, live musical entertainment, and more.
