2023 National Security Innovation Base Report Card
Overview
The NSIB Report Card, published annually by the Reagan Institute’s Center for Peace Through Strength at its NSIB Summit, fills that gap. This first-of-its-kind assessment is a groundbreaking tool for policymakers and private sector leaders to understand the effectiveness and productivity of the U.S. innovation base to support our national security goals. Introduction to 2023 Report Card
In 2022, the Ronald Reagan Institute’s Center for Peace Through Strength established a new program on the National Security Innovation Base. The foundation for the program was the Institute’s 2019 Task Force on 21st-Century National Security Technology and Workforce, which highlighted the fragile health of America’s national security technology and innovation community and its impact on our future economic and military competitiveness.
