Reagan National Economic Forum Returns in 2026 to Advance America’s Economic Leadership

RNEF will bring together senior business and policy leaders to advance growth, competitiveness, and U.S. economic leadership

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute today announced that it will host the annual Reagan National Economic Forum (RNEF) on May 28–29, 2026, at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, California.

RNEF will once again convene senior policymakers, C-suite leaders, innovators, and prominent thought leaders to address the most pressing economic challenges and opportunities facing the United States. The Forum will continue to elevate President Ronald Reagan’s legacy of American economic leadership grounded in opportunity, innovation, and competitive markets.

“President Reagan believed that a healthy, vigorous, and growing economy is the foundation of opportunity and national strength,” said David Trulio, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute. “The Reagan National Economic Forum builds on that vision by bringing leaders together to engage seriously with the ideas, policies, and tangible choices that will shape America’s economic future and sustain U.S. leadership in a highly competitive global economy.”

The mission of RNEF is to advance economic, fiscal, and monetary policies that will sustain and strengthen American opportunity, innovation, and prosperity, in the context of fierce global competition, threats to America’s national security, and significant domestic challenges and opportunities.

The 2026 Forum will feature discussions across key sectors, including finance, technology, manufacturing, education, energy, and trade, and will bring together leaders from across the political and economic spectrum.

“RNEF will help drive the national conversation on the economic choices that matter most to America’s long-term growth and competitiveness,” said Roger Zakheim, Washington Director of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute. “The Forum challenges leaders to test ideas, sharpen policy choices, and carry those debates into the broader economic and policy agenda throughout the year.”
