leaders at the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, on December 5-6

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute today announced Director of the Office of Management and Budget Russell Vought and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine will participate in fireside chats at this year’s Reagan National Defense Forum (RNDF) in Simi Valley, California, on December 6, 2025. Director Vought’s session will focus on reindustrialization and shipbuilding as key priorities of this administration. General Caine will discuss the global threat environment and the role of the military in ensuring peace through strength.

Since 2013, RNDF has brought together public and private sector national security leaders, including Members of Congress, senior administration officials, foreign dignitaries, and leaders in business, industry, and technology, for the most consequential annual discussion of U.S. defense policy.

“In a time of increasingly complex global threats, restoring deterrence is a national imperative, and leaders of all stripes agree peace through strength is the way to do so,” said Roger Zakheim, Director of the Ronald Reagan Institute. “We are honored to have Director Vought and General Caine join an exceptional lineup of speakers at this year’s RNDF, where our national defense leaders will once again come together to ensure the United States remains ready to defend freedom and preserve peace.”

This year’s forum will address the most pressing issues in U.S. defense policy, including innovation and emerging technology priorities, challenges in space and missile defense, and defense budgets and acquisition reform. The RNDF agenda can be viewed HERE.

Attendance at RNDF is by invitation only. Media who wish to attend must request credentials HERE, and a member of the media relations team will follow up to confirm credentials. Additional featured attendees, including Members of Congress, senior Pentagon officials, and industry leaders, will be announced in coming weeks.
