Overview
To honor the men and women who serve in the United States Armed Forces, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will be hosting its annual Veterans Day Event on Wednesday, November 11. The day’s activities include live musical entertainment, a civil war encampment, a military vehicle display and a program honoring all branches of our military.

The program, which begins at 11:00 a.m., includes an honor guard, live music, and a program featuring keynote speaker Retired Marine Officer and Sniper Amatangelo “AJ” Pasciuti. Following the program, AJ will sign copies of his book, Dark Horse: Harnessing Hidden Potential in War and Life, which is both an impactful memoir and a call to action. It’s a must-read for warriors, leaders, and anyone eager to grasp the strength found in serving others and the boundless potential that resides within us all.
Outdoor events and the program are free to attend; however, reservations are recommended to attend the program and to pre-purchase Dark Horse. Museum admission rates apply to visit the Reagan Museum, Air Force One Pavilion, and our brand-new special exhibition, Diana: Love Life Legacy. Veterans with valid ID will receive free admission to the Museum on November 11. Active military members with valid ID are always free.
1:00 p.m. – Atomic Echoes documentary screening:
Two friends, connected by family histories on opposite sides of World War II, set out to explore the lasting trauma of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. While Japanese hibakusha endure lifelong health complications and psychological scars, American atomic veterans who witnessed the bombings' aftermath also struggle with radiation-related illnesses and PTSD.
