In What Conservatives Believe Pence argues Republicans must rediscover the principles of true conservatism to deal with the challenges of tomorrow. He issues an urgent warning about the future of the GOP, urging the party to choose enduring conservative principles over the temptations of big-government populism.  With candid insights after decades as a happy warrior in the conservative movement, Pence writes about the importance of conservatism with authority, respect, and candor. As he's fond of saying, "I'm a conservative but I'm not in a bad mood about it." A true statesman and leader, Pence defines conservatism for a new generation in what promises to become a timeless conservative classic.

Mike Pence served as the 48th Vice President of the United States, 50th Governor of Indiana, and six-term U.S. Representative. His conservative philosophy was inspired by President Ronald Reagan and led to his founding Advancing American Freedom which continues to advocate for faith, family, and liberty as foundational American values.
