Join the Ronald Reagan Center on Civility and Democracy and the Hogan Institute at Washington College on Thursday, November 5th at 10:00am for a discussion immediately after the midterm elections, that will look beyond who won and lost to the challenge that follows every campaign: how to govern after the votes have been counted. Drawing on their experiences as governors from opposing parties, Governors Hogan and McAuliffe will explore how leaders move from campaigning to governing, build coalitions across political divides, find common ground without abandoning principle, and deliver results in a divided political environment. The conversation will ask what elected leaders owe not only to their supporters, but to all the citizens they are called to serve.
The conversation will be moderated by CBS News Chief Washington Analyst, Robert Costa.
