Overview

The Ronald Reagan Institute is proud to celebrate the legacy of the first woman to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of her confirmation by the U.S. Senate.

President Reagan nominated Justice O’Connor to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1981, and she
was confirmed by the Senate with a unanimous vote on September 25th. President
Reagan described Justice O’Connor as a “person for all seasons.” History has proven that
Justice O’Connor did possess “those unique qualities of temperament, fairness, intellectual capacity and devotion to the public good which have characterized the ‘brethren’ who have preceded her.”

This invitation is non-transferrable and is intended for invited guests only.
