Since 2000, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute has supported roughly 575 student leaders nationwide with nearly $9.5 million in college scholarships.

GE-Reagan Foundation scholarship program

  • The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program offers college scholarships of up to $40,000 for high school seniors nationwide who showcase leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship. Easy to apply and will change students’ lives.

Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation Scholars Program

  • The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation Scholars Program offers college scholarships of up to $10,000 for Ventura County, California high school seniors who demonstrate strong leadership and character.
  • Important Dates:
    • December 1, 2024: Application Opens
    • January 31, 2025, 11:59 a.m. PST: Application Closes

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program candidate requirements

  • Demonstrate the attributes of leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship within their communities, schools, and workplaces
  • Display strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent)
  • Be citizens of the United States of America
  • Be current high school seniors attending high school within the United States, (including any U.S. territories or commonwealths), and graduating in winter 2024 or spring 2025. Homeschooled applicants and applicants living on a U.S. Armed Forces base and attending high school outside the U.S. are eligible.
  • Plan to enroll in a full‑time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four‑year college or university in the United States for the entire 2025-2026 academic school year

Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation Scholars Program Requirements

  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership, character, communication skills, academic achievement, and commitment to Ventura County
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent)
  • Be citizens of the United States of America
  • Graduate from a high school in Ventura County, California during the current academic year (home-schooled high school seniors in Ventura County, California also are eligible)
  • Plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year
