* * *
A morning ride—Nancy didn’t go for this one. At 1 P.M. we left for a nearby ranch to meet with the kids at Camp Ronald McDonald For Good Times. All of the 100 or so kids are cancer patients. It was a moving experience to see these cheerful boys & girls. A mother of 5—1 with Leukemia conceived of this camp idea & there are now 250 such camps—some in other countries.—Back in time for more tree pruning.
