View the President's Schedule

Back on a regular schedule. Staff meetings at 9 A.M. Nancy is off to N.Y. to receive an award. She’ll be home tomorrow.

A signing of the Immigration bill after 5 yrs. battle. Ceremony was in the Roosevelt Room.

Then over to E.O.B. to address the Am. delegation going to Paris to spread private initiative to our European neighbors—this at their request.

Usual lunch with V.P. George did about 160 campaign stops. A good Cabinet meeting, reviewing the election & setting the stage for these next 2 yrs. A few more routine things—appointments etc. then a photo with the top officers of the United Stations Radio Network. During all these things I’ve been making phone calls—about 20 so far congratulating winners & condolences to losers.
