Awakened in night by terrific thunder & lightning. Cleared away in the morning & left Biltmore at 10 A.M. with Dick, Pat, John & Ann. Arrived at W.H. about 4:30 P.M. Weather very nice. The family got on their way and Nancy & I were in for the night.
