Stayed the morning in the study doing 1 on 1’s with Sens.—believe we picked up a couple. Noon to Cabinet room for working lunch. Then to Oval office for N.S.C. meeting to prep for a plan re Cuba & Central America. More Sen. meetings, then received 8 Ambassadors. Desk work & home at 6.
