Bill signing of our program to use D. of A. stored grain for fuel alcohol. Then to the receptions (2) & giant rally for Gov. Thone & of course we included their 3 Congressmen & cand. for Sen. Jim Keck. Press had tried to play it that we couldn’t fill the hall. They packed 9000 in all the way to the rafters & had to turn 3000 away. They cheered virtually every sentence. Back to Wash. Tomorrow King Hassan of Morocco & group of Arab state officials re the middle east. Nancy landed at “Andrews” almost simultaneously with us. She had attended the funeral for Bess Truman.
