To Ohio for 3 appearances. Bob Nimmo is resigning as Dir. of Vet’s. Admin. He was doing a good job in a spot that needs cleaning up. A.F.1 to Columbus Ohio—lunch at AccuRay Corp. with employees. A remarkable high tech. computer mfgr. Presented their Pres. with the President’s E. Star Excellence award for excellence above excellence in export. Spoke to employees & did Q&A—very well received. Then to meeting of Vet’s. Org’s. about 2000 present. Again a good reception. Then fund raiser reception for Congressman Bud Brown—cand. for Gov. He has an uphill fight. Back to W.H.—lonely. Nancy went to Phoenix this A.M. Israeli’s got revenge for ambush killing of 6 soldiers—they took out a Syrian Sam [S.A.M.] site.
