Slept in quite late in the A.M. Then up, some reading & the T.V. talk shows. Lunch with Mermie & Nancy on the Truman balcony—a beautiful day. An afternoon of homework etc. Evening a most enjoyable dinner party at the John Graebers (Betty Beale). 24 of us all told & a good time had by all.
