Up a bit early because of Sat. radio cast. First peek out the front door revealed the day was a scorcher. Anne said it was 80° at 7 A.M. Did radio cast on welfare reform & need to give recipients a way to be released from welfare by way of jobs. Some photos with Wauka [WHCA] departures & some of Secret Svc. police force a S.S. uniform outfit.
Then Nancy & I with a photo by new Redwood tree—a hot & short ride. Lunch, a couple of hours pruning—and back for cleanup & dinner. An early dinner & to bed.
