This was a day in N.Y. This morning I addressed the U.N. General Assembly. Ambassador Gromyko did not applaud. I said some blunt things about the Soviet U. that needed saying. They were not well received by the large segment which usually votes against the U.S. & with the U.S.S.R. On the other hand, I think my talk added to the results of the trip to Europe & was a plus. Report that Gatieri resigned as C. & C. of Argentine Army. not confirmed as yet. Things may be shaping up a little in Lebanon.
