An easy day til mid afternoon. Did my radio cast in Oval O. After lunch—suddenly homework began being delivered to me. There must be some eager Beavers in some of the offices. They’ve interrupted my search for books to give away.
Come evening & a most enjoyable dinner party at the U.K. Embassy. Our host Sir Anthony (the Ambas.) guests included Anne Armstrong & husband, Bunny Wrather, Bill Buckley, Brooke Astor, the guests of honor Princess Alexandra & Angus & Lady in Waiting [Meriel Afia] & Malcolm Forbes.
