This was a day for our friend Yasu Nakasone P.M. of Japan. He helicoptered into Camp D. about 11:15 A.M. We had a 90 min. plenary session at “Laurel” with his team & ours. Then he & I went back to “Aspen” for lunch with Nancy. He’s really a friend & our 2 countries have made great progress on troublesome trade matters. I told him in confidence about our forthcoming strike at Kaddaffy. He left Camp at 2—we departed at 2:30.
We have another meeting at 10:30 tomorrow A.M.
