Twas an Irish day. I had a luncheon date with Jack Kilpatrick. I took him to Alexandria to a cafe—the “Ireland’s Owned [Own].” It was a festive occasion there with Irish music & all. Then I hurried to the Capitol to have dessert & Irish coffee at Jim Wrights St. Pat lunch. Back at the W.H. some desk time & phone calls re the veto last night of the Grove City bill.

Then a photo with Pvt. Sector Staff. Personnel time with Bob Tuttle & finally Admin. time—photos with a few who are departing etc.

Dropped by W.H. Mess for party Jim Hooley was having for staff—then upstairs for the night.
