Camp David—Sat. strong wind but it’s breaking up the clouds which have hidden the sun for days. Spent the day doing mail. Called our friends at Lee & Walters for his birthday—thanked them for our anniversary gift. They all got together & bought us a jeep for the ranch. Sun. more calls same purpose & more mail. But Sun. was bright sun & blue sky. Now back in the W.H. George S. called re his meetings with Israel’s Shamir & Lebanons Salem. I’ll be meeting with Shamir tomorrow. Watched 60 min.
