President Reagan flies to Indiana to speak to the Indiana Legislature with Governor Bob Orr.
The Kampuchean government, under the domination of Vietnam, appoints Chan Sy Premier.
A Repub. breakfast Gov. Bob Ray et al. This, too as successful although not as large as the rally last night. Then with Bob over to the State House to address the legislature on our Federalism program. Again, a most heartwarming reception. Flew on to Indiana—again to speak to legislature. Here too with Gov. Bob Orr the reaction was terrific from Dem. office holders as well as Repubs. Came back to Wash. and spoke to 3,500 of the religious broadcasters & this too was a smash. I’m home in the W.H. & feeling very uplifted. It’s good to get out in the real world.
