Reagan Institute Summit on Education Announces Speakers

National bipartisan conference will feature former Secretary of Education Arne Duncan,
66th Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, experts and industry leaders from across the
education community.

WASHINGTON, DC The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute announced
speakers for its sixth annual Reagan Institute Summit on Education (RISE) at the Ronald Reagan
Institute in Washington, DC, and online, May 24 - 25, 2023.

This year’s theme: The Nation’s Next Horizon, will reflect on America’s recovery and resilience and
assess the state of education forty years after President Ronald Reagan’s seminal “A Nation at Risk
report released in 1983. The virtual and in-person panels discussions taking place at RISE 2023 will
include compelling discussions on, the future of financial aid; policies to strengthen the teaching
profession; the role of technology in facilitating educational grants; and teaching in the age of
artificial intelligence.

RISE offers a platform for experts with a diverse range of experiences to engage in civil discourse
and identify mutual goals to strengthen our education system and prepare the next generation for
the challenges of the 22nd century.

RISE will convene current and former Administration officials, two sitting governors, as well as
industry leaders from across the education spectrum who will address the health of the U.S.
education system. The Reagan Institute is proud to announce the following confirmed speakers at
