Join us on June 15, 2020 as we host a virtual discussion with U.S. Representative Elizabeth Cheney, who was sworn in as a Member of the United States House of Representatives on January 3, 2017. Congresswoman Cheney represents Wyoming’s at-large congressional district and was elected by her colleagues to serve as the House Republican Conference Chair, the third-highest position in GOP House leadership, in 2018. During this virtual conversation, led by Reagan Institute Director Roger Zakheim, Rep. Cheney discusses how the GOP can better engage young and women voters, the ongoing protests engulfing our country, and the importance of U.S. leadership in the world. This event is free to attend and can be accessed on YouTube during the event. Rep. Cheney works daily in Congress to restore America’s strength and power in the world, pursue conservative solutions to create jobs, cut taxes and regulation, and expand America’s energy, mining and agriculture industries.
Prior to her election to Congress, Rep. Cheney served at the State Department as a Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State. She is also the co-author, along with Vice President Cheney, of Exceptional: Why the World Needs Powerful America.
