Vice Presidential Candidate Governor Mike Pence to Speak at the Reagan Library

Please join us on Thursday, September 8th with a lecture by Vice Presidential Candidate and current Governor of Indiana Mike Pence.  Tickets are $65 per person and include a buffet lunch in the Air Force One Pavilion following the program.

Governor Pence is a lifelong Hoosier with legal, small business and policy experience. He was elected the 50th Governor of the State of Indiana in 2012 and inaugurated January 14, 2013. Since taking office in 2013, Pence has achieved the largest state income tax cut in Indiana history while also lowering the business personal property tax and corporate income tax to strengthen the state’s competitive edge in attracting new investment and good-paying jobs. Pence’s leadership and legislative accomplishments resulted in him being elected unanimously by his colleagues to serve as House Republican Conference Chairman and Chairman of the House Republican Study Committee. A strong supporter of the military, Pence has made a priority of reducing veteran unemployment and, while in Congress, he visited Hoosier soldiers in Iraq and/or Afghanistan annually since hostilities began.

Donald Trump announced Governor Pence as his running mate on July 16, 2016.

Please be aware that no campaigning is allowed on the Reagan Library campus.  Please do not wear or bring any buttons, hats, shirts, banners, etc that promote Trump/Pence or anything else that references the upcoming election.  Anyone who shows up at the event with these types of items will be sent back to their car to put it away.  In addition, due to security, no large bags will be permitted on the property.  

Following the program, a buffet lunch will be held in the Library’s Air Force One Pavilion.  The buffet includes grilled rosemary chicken breast, bow tie pasta will grilled vegetables, roasted haricot verts and baby potatoes, arugula and roasted corn salad, a strawberry, orange and spinach salad, freshly baked rolls and corn muffins, dark chocolate ganache brownies, lemon white chocolate cookies, and spiced oatmeal raisin cookies.  Ice water, iced tea and lemonade will be served to the tables.
