As part of the Centennial Celebration, partnership events will be held with four Universities across the country. This series of events focus on different components of the President’s life, leadership and legacy and are intended to engage scholars, students and noted authorities. These events are free and open to the public. The first of these Academic Symposia is in partnership with the University of Southern California.
Moderated by Tom Brokaw. Panelists include Douglas Brinkley, Governor Pete Wilson, Peggy Noonan and Lou Cannon.

Ronald Reagan is credited with transforming political institutions and policy agendas, securing and supporting traditional elements of American life, and reawakening trust in government and a general sense of positivity and hopefulness. What role has biography played in shaping the Reagan legacy? How has the role of biography in the construction of presidential legacy changed over time/varied across presidents?
