The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, in association with KCLU Public Radio (88.3 FM in Ventura County) and NPR News, presents A Nation Engaged, a citizens' discussion about the Power of the Presidency. The conversation, moderated by NPR's Wade Goodwyn and KCLU's Lance Orozco with panelists Peter Robinson and Craig Shirley, will be recorded and your comments may be included in the national broadcast of NPR's On Point on Thursday, April 20th at 10 a.m. The discussion will look at the roles and responsibilities of the Congress, the Courts, the bureaucracy, and the press to check a president and to discuss how powerful a president really should be.
This event is free to attend, however reservations are required. No political campaigning will be permitted at this event, nor may guests wear/carry shirts, banners, buttons, etc. promoting any political agenda.
Reagan’s Country Café will be open until 6pm on April 26th serving pre-packaged sandwiches, salads and desserts, as well as serving hot dogs and pizza.
