The Walter and Leonore Annenberg Presidential Learning Center at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation in partnership with the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation was proud to announce an education event that introduced students and the general public to Medal of Honor Recipients. On Wednesday, February 19th, 2014, Medal of Honor Recipients Colonel Bruce Crandall, Staff Sergeant Salvatore Giunta and Sergeant First Class Leroy Petry shared their stories about mentorship – Who is the hero’s hero? The Medal of Honor is the United States of America's highest military honor, awarded for personal acts of valor above and beyond the call of duty. Following the lecture, Colonel Crandall, Staff Sergeant Giunta and Sergeant First Class Petry will all sign copies of Medal of Honor: Portraits of Valor Beyond the Call of Duty.
