To coincide with our fascinating exhibit SPY: The Secret World of Espionage, the Reagan Foundation is pleased to offer a book signing series featuring New York Times bestselling authors of spy and espionage novels. The first author in our series, Ted Bell, is known for his bestselling books featuring counterspy Alex Hawke. As Glenn Beck once said about Mr. Bell, “Think Tom Clancy meets Robert Ludlum meets Stephen King…Ted Bell is now the writer I compare all others to.”
Mr. Bell will be signing Phantom, among other books in his espionage thriller Alex Hawke series. Books must be purchased at the Reagan Library’s Museum Store to receive signature. Books may be pre-purchased during the reservation process.
In Phantom, Alex Hawke must catch a villainous megalomaniac – a man obsessed with horrifying experiments in cyberwarfare. The hunt takes him from Palo Alto, California to the Russian frontier, to Cambridge University and the Mediterranean.
Ted Bell is a Writer In Residence at Cambridge University. Mr. Bell began his career in advertising and has won every award the industry offers, including numerous Clios and Cannes Gold Lions, and the Grand Prix at the Cannes Festival. He retired in 2001 to write full time.
