The second in our “Spy Series” programming is a lecture and book signing with best-selling thriller author Ben Coes on his latest book, Eye for an Eye.

In Eye for an Eye, Dewey Andreas uncovers the identity of a mole embedded at a high level in Israel’s Mossad, triggering a larger, more dangerous plot. The mole was the most important asset of Chinese Intelligence, and Fao Bhang, head of China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS), responds to the discovery and brutal elimination of the mole, by immediately placing a kill order on the man responsible—Dewey Andreas.

Ben Coes began his career in the public sector, working at the White House under President Ronald Reagan and President George H.W. Bush, serving as a White House-appointed speechwriter to the U.S. Secretary of Energy at the height of the Gulf War. Coes subsequently wrote speeches for Texas oilman billionaire T. Boone Pickens. Coes served as campaign manager for Mitt Romney’s successful run for Governor of Massachusetts and was subsequently invited to be a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Ben is a graduate of Columbia College, where he won the prestigious Bennett Cerf Memorial Prize for Fiction during his senior year. He is now the author of the bestselling thrillers featuring Dewey Andreas which include the critically acclaimed Power Down, Coup D’Etat, The Last Refuge, and Eye for an Eye. Ben lives in the Boston area with his wife and four children.
