“Today is the day we put aside to remember fallen heroes and to pray that no heroes will ever have to die for us again. It’s a day of thanks for the valor of others, a day to remember the splendor of America and those of her children who rest in this cemetery and others. It’s a day to be with the family and remember.” – Ronald Reagan, May 1986
In tribute to the men and women who have lost their lives as a result of wounds suffered in a war zone while serving in the United States Armed Forces since September 11, 2001, Patriotic Productions has created the “Remembering Our Fallen” exhibit which has travelled across thirteen of our nation’s states. Now, for the first time, a tribute to California’s 725 fallen will travel. The exhibit will be unveiled at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, where it will be on display in the Library’s Air Force One Pavilion, before it travels across the state. The exhibit will be on display at the Reagan Library from January 31st through February 8th.
Please join us at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31st, as the exhibit is unveiled to the California families of the fallen. There is no charge to attend the event, however regular Museum admission applies to get into the Air Force One Pavilion, where the event is held. We ask that the general public sit towards the back of the seating, to allow families the front rows.
“Remembering Our Fallen” was created to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Its legacy will be that these men and women will never be forgotten and that their names will be remembered and spoken.
