A Common Ground Forum: Rivalry and Sportsmanship in America's Game
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute’s Center on Civility and Democracy is thrilled to host an event – just two days before the 2024 Army-Navy football game – sitting down with former players as they discuss one of college football’s most storied rivalry games, as well as sportsmanship on and off the field. The program will be moderated by CBS Sports Broadcaster Brad Nessler, who will also be broadcasting the actual game on December 14.
Inspired by President Reagan’s willingness to work “across the aisle” with Democratic Speaker of the House Tip O'Neill and other leaders to achieve lasting and meaningful legislation, the Center on Civility and Democracy’s Common Ground series seeks to draw on their example of productive, results-oriented cooperation despite ideological differences. The Center, and so many in our nation, would like to see those days return to America.
The Common Ground series is made possible by the generous support of Founding Underwriter Marcia Carlucci, with additional support from Gloria Dittus.
