Join us on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, for a compelling, moderated conversation with Fox News political analyst and best-selling author Gianno Caldwell, as he discusses his powerful new book, The Day My Brother Was Murdered: My Journey Through America’s Violent Crime Crisis (Publishing June 24, 2025).

On June 24, 2022, Caldwell’s eighteen-year-old brother, Christian, was murdered while standing with friends on a street in Chicago’s South Side. A black SUV pulled up, and several unidentified men opened fire—leaving behind over fifty shell casings. Three in the crowd were rushed to the hospital; only two survived. The tragedy devastated Caldwell and shattered his family.

In this gripping exposé, Caldwell explores the human toll of rising crime in America’s cities. He recounts not only his personal loss, but also the untold stories of several other senseless murders that occurred on the same day—revealing a disturbing pattern of violence and systemic failure nationwide. The Day My Brother Was Murdered challenges prevailing political narratives, shining a spotlight on what Caldwell argues are the multiple failings of Democratic-led policies that have transformed once-thriving metropolises into crime-ridden centers.
Blending meticulous research with poignant personal anecdotes, Caldwell offers a sobering look at the crisis facing many communities and presents a powerful call to action: reject the status quo and demand meaningful change.
