Overview

Join us for the 21st Annual Constitution Day Mini-Conference on Saturday, September 6, an exciting professional development opportunity designed for elementary, middle, and high school educators. This year's theme, "Our Nation, Many Voices," celebrates the diverse perspectives that have shaped our nation’s history and civic identity.

Participants will gain access to interactive teacher workshop sessions, featuring engaging strategies for civics education and valuable insights into fostering informed and active citizenship. The event will also include a Civic Learning Student Panel, providing an inspiring look at student experiences with civic engagement. Participants will receive FREE lesson plans and curricular materials from respected sponsor organizations to support classroom instruction.

Enhance your experience with a self-guided tour of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, including a visit to Air Force One and the Reagan Leadership Center. The conference also offers networking opportunities where educators can exchange ideas and collaborate with peers, all while enjoying complimentary lunch and refreshments

Don’t miss this opportunity to enrich your teaching practices and celebrate the voices that contribute to our democracy.

This event is co-sponsored by The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, Teach Democracy, Center for Civic Education, Los Angeles County Office of Education, Ventura County Office of Education, Simi Valley Unified School District, and Moorpark Unified School District.
