Susan R. McCaw

Ambassador Susan McCaw is a businesswoman, former diplomat, and philanthropist. She served as the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Austria and is currently President of SRM Capital Investments, a private investment firm. Ambassador McCaw is Board Chair of the Hoover Institution and a Board Member of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation. She serves on the boards of Lionsgate Entertainment Corp (NASDAQ: LION) and Air Lease Corporation (NYSE: AL). In addition, Ambassador McCaw is a founding board member of the Malala Fund for Girls’ Education and serves as Chair of the Knight Hennessy Scholars Global Advisory Board. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Council of American Ambassadors. She is Trustee Emerita of Stanford University and a former member of Harvard Business School’s Board of Dean’s Advisors. Ambassador McCaw formerly served at President of COM Investments and as a Principal at Robertson Stephens, Inc. She started her career at McKinsey & Company.
Ambassador McCaw earned a BA in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She was born and raised in Orange County, CA and currently resides in North Palm Beach, FL. Ambassador McCaw has three children.
