Please join us on Wednesday, July 27th as we welcome true American hero Robert J. O’Neill to the Reagan Library. As a Navy Seal, Senior Chief Petty Officer Rob O’Neill assisted on the rescue missions for Marcus Luttrell and Captain Richard Phillips, as well as on the mission to bring Osama bin Laden to justice when Osama bin Laden was shot and killed. Rob O’Neill will be speaking about his time in the military, as well as on his latest mission – helping veterans and their families. Mr. O’Neill is also now a contributor to FOX News. Tickets to attend the event are $65 per person and include dinner following the program.
Rob O’Neill is one of the most highly-decorated combat veterans of our time. He was a team leader with the Naval Special Warfare Development Group. He has deployed more than a dozen times, and he held combat leadership roles in more than 400 combat missions in four different theaters of war. A highly-trained Navy SEAL, he led the military’s most elite and was involved in our nation’s most important campaigns. He has completed more than 1,000 jumps.
One of the nation’s most decorated veterans, O’Neill has been decorated more than 52 times with honors, including two Silver Stars, four Bronze Stars with Valor, a Joint Service Commendation Medal with Valor, three Presidential Unit citations, and two Navy/Marine Corps Commendations with Valor.
Following the program, a buffet dinner will be held in the Reagan Library’s Air Force One Pavilion. The dinner includes grilled chicken breasts with a sweet and smoky bourbon barbeque sauce, mashed potatoes, grilled corn and black bean risotto cakes, a green bean, tomato, zucchini and red onion salad, a Romaine salad, warm biscuits and corn muffins and s’more brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and oatmeal raisin cookies.
