In 2015, the Board of Trustees of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, recognizing the importance of keeping President Reagan’s legacy, values, and vision alive beyond the walls of its famous Library, established the Ronald Reagan Institute in Washington, DC.
In the heart of the city where our nation’s most important governmental decisions are made, the Reagan Institute will proactively promote his vision and leadership model through academic programs, scholarly work, and substantive, issue-driven forums.
Once scheduled for spring of 2020, the grand opening has now been postponed to fall of 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak. Very soon, however, all who visit the nation’s capital will have greater opportunity to experience the ideals, history, legacy, and influence of America’s 40th President, and learn how his vision guides this nation today and will continue to do so into the future.
The mission of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute is to complete President Reagan’s unfinished work and to preserve the timeless principles he championed: individual liberty, economic opportunity, global democracy, and national pride.
We look forward to sharing more news and updates in the coming months.
