According to Celeste Bujold, “Being an American means sharing the American spirit of self reliance, optimism, and hard work.” Celeste certainly embodies these qualities as an athlete, scholar, and student body vice president. When not on the tennis court, she is engaged with the Key Club and a church youth group. Combining her passions and skills, Celeste is destined to impact global medicine. She has already made four medical mission trips to Sierra Leone, and hopes to work with Doctors Without Borders after medical school. Celeste will be graduating from Ventura High School and plans to attend University of California, Berkeley this fall.
