Paige Slaught

While “Sprinter of the Year” and “Rookie of the Year” are titles that Paige holds as part of her school’s Track and Field team and Cross Country Team, they are only two of her many interests. She is proud of her nearly bilingual status in English and Spanish, having completed a summer study abroad immersion program in Spain. Determined to hold leadership positions, she succeeded in doing so as a Programming Leader on her school’s robotics team, as a Junior Class Role Model in the Honor Court, Captain of the Volleyball Team, and Vice President of the National Art Honor Society. As a representative of the Kiwanis Key Club, Paige has devoted much time to service, most notably as the Lead Organizer for a “Senior Prom” for about 50 senior citizens for the last two years. She fully embraced her role and displayed such care and maturity as to draw the respect and notice of her faculty advisor and others. Paige plans to graduate from Ventura High School and attend University of Colorado at Boulder this fall.
