Jane Chen

Known as “superwoman” among many of her peers, Jane excels at not only academics, but as a public speaker, pianist, webmaster, swimmer, and mathematician. However, it is her involvement as a leader and ambassador with the Future Business Leaders of America at a local, state, and national level that is a particular passion of hers. Jane had the opportunity to hone her outstanding public speaking skills with FBLA and discover her ability to successfully grow her school’s chapter from 7 to 100 members while simultaneously increasing the account balance from $60 to $6000. Jane’s responsible, calm, and collected approach to challenges and tasks, as well as her outstanding work ethic and commitment has impressed those who work with her and convinced them of her success no matter what Jane undertakes. Jane is graduating from Westlake High School and plans to study business administration at Harvard University in the fall.
