Jaclyn Lee

One of Jaclyn’s proudest achievements is her web show “This Teen Life”, which she created and currently hosts, produces, and edits. The platform she created allows teens to tell their stories and provides a safe place for them to address and discuss taboo and other common issues teens face today. It has reached 44 US states and 30 countries, helping teens to know that they are not alone. Her involvement as an Executive Producer, Lead Anchor and Reporter for a school TV station and a Mass Media Commissioner for the Associated Student Government have lead to multiple awards, including a Chuck Stone Diversity Award for her work on “This Teen Life”. In addition to her passion for employing different forms of media to get her ideas across, Jaclyn also has a love for animals, resulting in her founding and presiding over Animal Welfare Club and Save the Paws Foundation at her school. Jaclyn will be graduating from Newbury Park High School. She plans to pursue a dual program at Duke University and at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall.
