Sumedh Shah

Gifted academically, Sumedh is considered a “servant leader” by his counselor. He is committed to excellence and leads with resiliency and personal drive. One of Sumedh’s teachers notes his “exceptional combination of intelligence, motivation, and individuality.” A Boy Scout, his charming personality makes him well liked and respected by both teachers and fellow students. Despite family tragedy, Sumedh’s leadership starts at home and extends to genuine compassion for his peers and community. With his sights set on medicine, this Thousand Oaks High School graduate will study biology at Northwestern University in the fall.
