Jacob Kohlhepp

At his young age, Jacob Kohlhepp has already proven to be a civic leader. His communication skills and strong work ethic make him a natural leader at school and in the community. He is a scholar, an athlete, and an Eagle Scout. Additionally, Jacob serves as chair of the City of Thousand Oaks Youth Commission. As one of his recommenders notes, “apart from his intelligence, attitude, and eagerness to take on new challenges, what is impressive about Jacob is his clear understanding of the value of commitment and eagerness to let others learn from his experience.” Hailing from Newbury Park High School, Jacob plans to study political science and government at the University of California - Los Angeles in the fall.
