Ashley Chang

Science and art are not generally compatible interests, but Ashley Chang’s passion for both is evident in her extracurricular activities and leadership. She balances these activities with a demanding course load, athletics, and compassionate volunteerism. According to her advisor, Ashley has “consistently demonstrated maturity, persistence, and a strong work ethic.” Her counselor sums it up when describing her as a “dynamic and strong leader whose ambition and dedication will serve her well in the future.” Ashley’s leadership of Future Medical Professionals at Westlake High School demonstrates her passion for biochemistry, which she will study at the University of Southern California this fall.
