Megan A.

A graduate of Westlake High School, Megan was the student manager for the Westminster Free Clinic where she helped give medical attention to the poor, was President of the Future Medical Professionals Club, and was selected to participate in the Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project. In her essay, Megan writes “I was constantly reminded by my mother to never give excuses,” and cites the words of President Reagan that inspire her, “There are no constraints on the human mind, no walls around the human spirit, no barriers to our progress except those we ourselves erect.”
