Odysseus Pyrinis

Like Ronald Reagan, Odysseus is lauded for his public speaking skills. Through Mock Trial, Model United Nations, Speech and Debate, and as the president of the local TedXYouth, he has refined those skills and spent countless hours making convincing arguments. Further, through his leadership of a number of volunteer efforts – including charitable and political causes – he used his speaking strengths to motivate and inspire those around him. He has been described as “the moral compass,” and strives to uphold right from wrong and a sense of justice. With a future in law, Odysseus hopes to defend the constitutional rights of hardworking, less fortunate individuals. Odysseus is local to us here at the Library, so we have been lucky enough to watch him grow in his leadership abilities through some of our own programs. From Newbury Park, California with plans to attend the University of California, Berkeley in the fall, we congratulate Odysseus Pyrinis.
