Jami Jo Norwood

Faith and family drive Jami. Jami served as president of her 4-H club, but credits her family’s support through all of her experiences. She says, “we have won as a family and lost as a family. When one person wins, we all win. We celebrate as a family and cry as a family.” As vice president of 4-H Junior Leaders, Jami organized events to support families with basic needs, Thanksgiving meals, and Christmas presents. Serving meals to those less fortunate reminded Jami of her own blessings and encouraged her to share her surplus with others. Similarly, as president of the National Honor Society, Jami started tutoring sessions for struggling students, which have made a visible impact on their grades and test scores. From Roanoke, Indiana, Jami will attend the University of Evansville in the fall.
