Anna Harris

Anna takes this approach each day: “Today is a new day; I will improve the world. One voice, one hand, one person can change the world for the better. I can be that person and that voice.” Through her own work establishing a nonprofit out of personal experiences, it is evident that Anna is in fact changing the world for the better. The centerpiece of her service is her organization, “There Is No Cure for Brain Injury,” which serves victims of brain injury in her community and state. Anna’s passion for brain disorders and her drive to support the populations often affected by them came after her own brother suffered a brain injury. In addition, Anna has established a number of initiatives that support everyone from babies to veterans to her entire community. President of the student government and a state- and All-American cheerleading champion, Anna’s leadership motivates others with her encouragement and positive attitude. Hailing from Green River, Wyoming, Anna will attend Brigham Young University this fall.
